Mouloudia Oujda’s management concedes to fans’ pressure, announces press conference after relegation
The decision comes after widespread calls from fans and social media pages dedicated to the team, demanding transparency and accountability from the club’s leadership.
The silence from the club’s directors after the relegation had only fueled the frustration and anger among supporters.
Led by President Madani El-Zayani, the board has scheduled the press conference for Wednesday, July 3rd, at 11:00 AM, to be held at the club’s training center.
Facebook pages and fans, who had been clamoring for a press conference since the team’s relegation, quickly reacted to the club’s announcement.
Many commented that the club should have organized this press conference sooner, rather than waiting for public outcry to prompt such action.
The relegation has left the sports community in Oujda in a state of turmoil and shock.
The prolonged silence from the current management since the team’s drop to the second division has only exacerbated the situation.
There have been vocal demands for the current board to step down, citing their failure to effectively manage the club and prevent its downfall.
The upcoming press conference is expected to address these concerns and provide much-needed clarity on the future direction of Mouloudia Oujda.
Fans and stakeholders will be keenly watching for explanations and assurances from the club’s leadership, hoping for a strategic plan to restore the team’s former glory and ensure its swift return to the top tier of Moroccan football.
