Dreams FC, a competitor in the Ghanaian league, has clarified the speculation surrounding the interest of Al Ahly and Zamalek in acquiring their talented striker, Abd Al-Aziz Issa, during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Despite his young age, Issa has shown remarkable performance in the African Confederation Cup, attracting the attention of prominent clubs such as Al Ahly and Zamalek, as reported by Ghana Soccer Net.
The renowned Ghanaian network claimed that Al Ahly, Zamalek, Pyramids FC, and Al Masry are all interested in securing Issa’s services after the current season, particularly given his status as an under-20 player.
At just 18 years old, Issa has scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists for Dreams FC this season in a total of 12 matches, showcasing his potential on the field.
“btolat.com” reached out to Dreams FC’s vice president, Prince Abdul-Hamid, to ascertain the truth behind the clubs’ interest in signing the player. Abdul-Hamid confirmed, “Yes, there is significant interest from those big clubs.”
He added, “There is also interest from some clubs outside Egypt. Issa has immense potential, and everyone expects him to succeed, but he needs guidance and development.”
Abdul-Hamid continued, “Dreams FC will not stand in Issa’s way if there is a good offer. We want to help him achieve professionalism and success beyond the country.”
He concluded his statement by saying, “We are awaiting an official offer with a good financial package before agreeing to the player’s departure in the upcoming summer.”
