Cagliari forward Zito Luvumbo is being linked with a move to Serie A rivals Lecce, with the Angolan striker reportedly emerging as a potential attacking option for the Salentini.

The 23-year-old, valued at €3.50m on Transfermarkt, is the subject of transfer speculation suggesting Lecce are monitoring his situation at the Sardinian club. The rumour, logged on 2 February 2026, lists the probability of a deal as unclear (“?”), underlining that talks – if any – have yet to advance to a definitive stage and no agreement has been reported.

Luvumbo’s contractual details at Cagliari are not publicly specified in the data, leaving open the possibility that he could move for a relatively modest fee or even approach free-agent status depending on his existing deal. That uncertainty is likely to encourage interest from clubs such as Lecce, who have often targeted emerging talents and under-valued assets within Serie A.

The left-footed centre-forward, currently wearing the number 77 shirt at Cagliari, has seen his market value fluctuate in recent seasons, peaking at €7.50m in June 2024 before dropping to its current €3.50m mark in December 2025. Any bid from Lecce would therefore be measured against that trajectory, with the Apulian side potentially viewing him as a low-risk opportunity to revive his upward curve.

Born in Luanda on 9 March 2002, Luvumbo came through the ranks at Angolan side CD 1º de Agosto, progressing from their U17 and U20 teams to the senior side before moving to Italy. A loan spell at Como 1907 in Serie B preceded his integration into Cagliari’s Primavera set-up and subsequent promotion to the first team, where he has built his reputation as a quick, direct attacking threat.

Should a switch to Lecce materialise, it could offer Luvumbo a fresh platform in Serie A to stabilise his market value and reshape the next phase of his career in Italian football.
