Zed Football Club has officially announced the acquisition of Ethiopian player Abiel Yallow from Saint George Club, marking a significant addition to their squad following the closure of the transfer window.
At 27 years old, Yallow brings a wealth of experience to Zed, having joined Saint George in 2018 from Dedebit.
During the current season of the CAF Champions League, Yallow showcased his talent in four matches with Saint George, contributing a solitary goal to his team’s campaign.
His international record is also notable, with Yallow netting a single goal for Ethiopia against Uganda in a friendly match back in 2021.
Zed’s latest signing comes on the heels of their recent draw against Al Ahly Bank, where both teams ended with a goal apiece, highlighting the importance of bolstering their squad for upcoming challenges.
Currently occupying the second position in the Egyptian Premier League standings with 21 points, Zed trails league leaders Enppi by just two points, positioning them as strong contenders for the title race.
