Zambia announce friendly with Angola on November 18

The Football Association of Zambia has confirmed a late adjustment to their international friendly lineup for the current FIFA window.

Instead of Guinea-Bissau, Angola will now host Zambia in Luanda on November 18 in what promises to be an entertaining southern African showdown.

The fixture provides the Palancas Negras with a fresh opportunity to continue shaping their squad as they prepare for upcoming competitions.

Playing in front of their home fans in the Angolan capital, the hosts will face a Zambian side widely recognised for their competitive edge on the continent.

Both nations are expected to use the encounter to evaluate player performance and build momentum ahead of the 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Zambia find themselves in Group A alongside host nation Morocco, Mali and Comoros.

Angola are in Group B and will compete with Egypt, South Africa, and Zimbabwe.
