The first football team of Zamalek Club is set to regain the services of several players during their upcoming match against Al Ahly in the Egypt Cup final.
Zamalek will face Al Ahly on March 8th at the Cairo International Stadium in the final of the 2022-2023 Egypt Cup season.
Among the returning players for Zamalek in the Al Ahly match is Ahmed Mostafa “Zizo,” the team’s winger, who suffered a sprained ankle during the match against Abu Salim of Libya.
This occurred in the fifth round of the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup, which ended with Zamalek’s victory with a score of 2-1.
According to the team’s doctor, Mohamed Osama, “Zizo” will be ready for the Al Ahly match.
Also returning to the White Knights is Ziyad Kamal, who joined the club during the last winter transfer window from Enppi on loan.
Kamal has recovered from a hamstring injury that kept him out of the matches against Ismaily and Abu Salim of Libya.
He will be fit to participate in the match against Al Ahly.
Zamalek will also regain the services of Ahmed Fatouh for the Al Ahly match.
Fatouh is in the final stage of his rehabilitation program for a hamstring injury he sustained while playing for the Egyptian national team in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
