Zamalek is set to give Ahmed Sayed Zizo a lucrative long-term deal to secure his future with the club, according to details uncovered by Kooora.
With the player’s current contract nearing its end this season, he’s free to negotiate with other teams, putting pressure on Zamalek to act swiftly.
A source within Zamalek club shared insights into the latest proposal. “The latest offer presented by Zamalek includes Zizo receiving 80 million Egyptian pounds per season,” the source told Kooora. “Zizo currently receives an annual salary of 30.7 million pounds with Zamalek,” he added, highlighting the significant jump in pay.
The deal sweetens further with outside help. “A businessman will give Zizo a contract bonus of up to 25 million pounds, in addition to the offer sent to him to stay at Zamalek,” the source explained. However, complications arise as “Zizo’s father (the player’s agent) wants to receive a large commission of up to 15 million pounds, and this is completely unacceptable at Zamalek.”
“There will be a meeting between Zizo and the planning committee after the upcoming match against Ceramica Cleopatra, and all the details will be revealed. An official statement may be issued to clarify matters for the fans,” the source concluded.
