Zamalek is stepping up their preseason plans with a friendly match and an intensive training camp as they gear up for the upcoming season.
The Egyptian giants, led by Belgian coach Yannick Ferrera, will face Orange FC in a test game this Friday at 8:00 PM. The match will take place at the Military College Stadium, where the team is currently based for training.
Ferrera approved the friendly after consulting his technical team, who believe such matches are crucial for evaluating player performance and understanding the team’s strengths and gaps. This match is one of several tune-ups planned to help the squad find rhythm and build chemistry before official fixtures begin.
In addition to the friendly, Ferrera has also decided the team will move into a closed training camp in the New Administrative Capital. The camp is scheduled to begin once the team finishes its program at the Military Academy.
