Zamalek spokesperson: resolution reached with Lisbon, registration crisis to conclude next week

Ahmed Salem, the official spokesperson for Zamalek Club, has affirmed that the registration crisis is expected to be conclusively resolved next week.

Speaking on the “Zamalkawy” program broadcast on the Zamalek channel, Salem stated, “An agreement has been reached between Zamalek and Lisbon regarding the registration crisis, and the full details will be announced next week.”

Zamalek is actively working to resolve the registration suspension crisis, which is on the verge of conclusion.

The club’s officials have made strides in reaching solutions with the assistants of the former head coach, Portuguese Jaime Pacheco.

This involves settling a significant portion of their financial dues.

Additionally, Zamalek has fulfilled the sponsorship commitments for Senegalese player Ibrahima N’Diaye, commonly known as Wadidjla.

An agreement has also been reached with player Benjamin Acheampong regarding his outstanding financial entitlements.

Furthermore, negotiations are nearing completion with officials from Venezuelan club Caracas concerning the final installment of payments owed to Zamalek’s player, Samson Akinyoola.

Salem’s statement reflects optimism about the imminent resolution of the registration crisis, marking progress in clearing financial obligations and securing agreements with relevant parties.

The official details of the agreement with Lisbon are anticipated to be disclosed in the coming week, signifying a positive development for Zamalek as they navigate through these challenges.
