The first team of Zamalek Football Club resumed its training today, Tuesday, under the guidance of Portuguese coach Jose Gomez, at the secondary pitch of the Air Defense Stadium, in preparation for the upcoming match against Al-Dakhleya in the Egyptian Premier League.
The team’s players were given a rest day from training yesterday upon their return from Algeria, following their victory over Abu Salim of Libya in the CAF Confederation Cup, securing a spot in the quarter-finals with a 2-1 win.
Today’s session began with the players engaging in physical drills led by Joao Miguel, the team’s fitness coach, aimed at optimizing their physical condition.
Zamalek’s first football team is gearing up for the clash against Al-Dakhleya scheduled for the day after tomorrow, Thursday, at the Cairo International Stadium, in the fourteenth round of the Egyptian Premier League competition.
