Egypt’s Zamalek has initiated discussions to secure the signatures of Abdullah El-Said and Saif Farouk Jaafer from Pyramids, according to sources at FilGoal.com.
El-Said has reportedly reached an agreement with Zamalek and has forgone his remaining dues from Pyramids to facilitate his move to the White Knights.
However, within Zamalek, there is still internal division regarding the potential return of Saif Farouk Jaafer.
The player is actively seeking to compromise on his financial entitlements with Pyramids to enable his return to Zamalek.
A meeting is scheduled in the coming days to finalize the deal, whether by acquiring both players or just one of them.
FilGoal.com has also learned the financial intricacies surrounding these transfers.
Zamalek has an outstanding amount of 18 million Egyptian pounds yet to be settled with Pyramids for the deals involving Omar Gaber and Nabil Emad.
The acquisitions of Abdullah El-Said and Saif Farouk Jaafer would incur a cost of 12 million Egyptian pounds for the White Knights.
Consequently, Zamalek is set to disburse a total of 30 million Egyptian pounds in installments to conclude all financial matters with Pyramids.
Saif Jaafer departed Zamalek at the end of the last season after the conclusion of his contract, subsequently joining Pyramids on a free transfer.
In the current season, he has participated in only four matches without registering any goals or assists.
On the other hand, Abdullah El-Said, at 38 years old, has featured in 14 matches in the current season, scoring twice and providing one assist.
Since his return from playing abroad, he has contributed to 183 matches with Pyramids, scoring 47 goals and providing 44 assists across various competitions.
