The coaching staff of the first football team at Zamalek Club, led by Portuguese manager José Gomez, decided to give the players a day off from training on Monday, following the team’s return from Algeria after playing against Al-Ahly Benghazi in the African Confederation Cup.
Zamalek will resume its training sessions on Tuesday in preparation for the upcoming match against Al-Dakhleya, scheduled for next Thursday in the fourteenth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
The Zamalek team secured a crucial victory against Al-Ahly Benghazi, winning 2-1 in the match held as part of the fifth round of the group stage in the African Confederation Cup.
With this win, the White Knights extended their lead in the group, amassing 13 points and securing a spot in the quarter-finals.
