Despite reports linking to Zamalek SC, reports have emerged suggesting that the club is not in direct talks with the South African coach.
Mosimane has been a free agent since January and has been linked to replace José Peseiro who has been sacked by the club.
However, according to a recent report by 365Scores.com, these claims are untrue.
The report has stated that Zamalek are not currently in direct negotiations with Mosimane, although the club is actively reviewing the profiles of several coaching candidates.
“The club is currently not in negotiations with any coach, especially since the team’s season has not yet ended,” a source said to 365Scores.com.
“There is one match remaining in the Egyptian Premier League and the Egypt Cup final against Pyramids.
“Zamalek’s board of directors has largely decided that Ayman El-Ramady will not continue as the team’s coach next season, and that the board is currently reviewing several coaching resumes to select the most suitable coach for the new season.”
Amongst the names reportedly under consideration to replace the dismissed Portuguese coach Jose Peseiro is former Mamelodi Sundowns and Wydad Athletic Club head coach, Rulani Mokwena.
