In a proactive move, Mu’tamid Jamal, the head coach of Zamalek’s first football team, convened a brief session with the players before the commencement of today’s collective training.
The session unfolded at the Abdellatif Abu Regeila Stadium, located at the White Castle headquarters, with Abdelwahid El Sayed, the football director, in attendance.
During the session, Coach Jamal engaged in a comprehensive dialogue with the players regarding the significance of the upcoming phase and the necessity to prepare at an optimal level during the ongoing international break.
Shikabala Persists in Rehabilitation
Mahmoud Abdel Razek “Shikabala,” the captain of Zamalek’s first football team, continued his rehabilitation program on the sidelines of the team’s group training.
Shikabala actively participated in a series of physical and rehabilitative exercises in the “Gymnasio” under the meticulously designed program outlined by the coaching staff, aiming to prepare him for the upcoming period.
In parallel developments, key players of Zamalek, Hamza El Methlouthi, and Amr El Sisi, underwent a set of rehabilitation exercises on the periphery of the team’s training.
This occurred during today’s session on the club’s field, supervised by the team’s medical staff, as part of their recovery program following muscle injuries.
Youssef Hassan Observes Zamalek’s Training
*Youssef Hassan, the striker for Zamalek’s first football team, graced the team’s training session held earlier today on the club’s field, gearing up for the forthcoming period.
Despite still undergoing his rehabilitation program after ankle surgery nearly two months ago, Hassan closely monitored Zamalek’s training.*
The training session also witnessed an intense physical segment, conducted under the guidance of Alaa Ragab, the fitness planner.
The coaching staff emphasized enhancing the overall fitness levels of the players during the current international break.
Special Training for Defensive Error Correction
Under the leadership of Coach Mu’tamid Jamal, the coaching staff divided the players into two groups during today’s collective training at the club’s field.
The focus was on executing certain technical maneuvers and rectifying defensive errors that surfaced in recent games.
This strategic training initiative aligns with the recent decision by the Clubs Association to postpone Zamalek’s match against Ceramica Cleopatra in the Premier League’s tenth round.
The postponement aims to accommodate the national team’s preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled from January 13th to February 11th.
This comprehensive approach underscores Coach Mu’tamid Jamal’s commitment to refining the team’s performance and addressing specific areas for improvement, setting a determined tone for Zamalek as they navigate both domestic and international competitions.
