Renowned sports journalist Karim Hassan Shahata has revealed that Zamalek Sporting Club is on the brink of securing deals with several players to bolster their first-team squad ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
Speaking on the television channel “Al-Hayah,” Karim Hassan Shahata stated, “Zamalek is keen on acquiring the services of Karim Al-Iraqi, the right-back of Al-Masry Sporting Club, as his contract with the club expires at the end of the current season.”
“Karim Al-Iraqi had previously signed a contract with Zamalek in January, but Al-Masry’s management refused to part ways with the player,” Shahata added.
Furthermore, negotiations have commenced with Abdelrahman Khalid, commonly known as “Gebna,” the midfielder from Arab Contractors Club, to secure his signature for the upcoming season.
“The club has also set its sights on Mustafa Fathi, the winger from Pyramids FC, who harbors a desire to return to the White Castle,” Shahata concluded.
