Amr Adham, a member of the board of directors of Zamalek Sporting Club, has issued an apology to the club’s supporters following the team’s 0-2 defeat against Al Ahly in the Egypt Cup final, which took place on Friday at the “Al Ahly Stadium” in Riyadh.
With this victory, Al Ahly clinched the Egypt Cup title for the 39th time in its history.
Adham took to his personal account on “X” website, stating: “A sincere apology to the great Zamalek fans. The result of the match does not reflect its course… One must strive for success without necessarily achieving it.”
