Zamalek head coach Ayman Al-Ramady has made a surprise decision by bringing Abdullah Al-Saeed back into the squad for Saturday’s clash against Petrojet in the final match of the Premier League season.
The game, set to take place at the Military College Stadium, comes at a time when Zamalek are facing a severe player shortage.
Despite Al-Saeed missing recent training sessions and not joining the team’s camp in Ismailia, Al-Ramady has added the veteran midfielder to the matchday list aacording to Kooora. His return is seen as a necessity following the unavailability of several key players, including Ahmed Al-Jafali, Nasser Mansi, Nasser Maher, Mahmoud Bentayegh, and Ahmed Fattouh.
Al-Saeed’s relationship with the club has been strained due to a contract renewal dispute. He recently cleared out his locker at the club’s facility, fueling speculation about his departure. With his current deal ending this season, Al-Saeed is free to negotiate with other teams.
This last-minute inclusion underlines Al-Ramady’s urgent search for options as he aims to finish the campaign on a strong note.
