The board of directors of Zamalek Sporting Club, under the leadership of Chairman Hussein Labib, has issued several significant decisions following a meeting held Sunday evening to discuss various matters concerning the White Castle.
Ahmed Salem, the club’s official spokesperson, announced the following decisions made by the Zamalek board:
- The council deliberated on the incident involving Hussein El-Sayed, a member of the council and supervisor of the youth sector, regarding the behavior of the under-13 football team following the match against Al Ahly, held at the club’s stadium.

- Negotiation of a new sponsorship contract with United Company as part of the club’s policy to increase the number of sponsors, aligning with the club’s moral and marketing value.
- Contracting with Tunisian lawyer Sami Bou Srar, specialized in international litigation and disputes.
- Signing American professional Demarco Dickerson to join the first basketball team at Zamalek Club.
- Approval of the loan of Hesham Salah, a player from the first handball team at Zamalek Club, to Al-Arabi Club in Qatar to participate in the Gulf Cup of Champions.
- Progress in settling the dispute with the Endowments Authority regarding the club’s land, ensuring the preservation of the club’s most important real estate assets, following a meeting between Dr. Hossam El Mandouh, the Fund’s Secretary, the Minister of Endowments, and the Chairman of the Endowments Authority, which witnessed fruitful cooperation and full appreciation from the ministry and the authority for Zamalek Club.
