Zamalek Sporting Club has entrusted board member Ahmed Hassanein with the presidency of the White Knights’ delegation set to travel to the United Arab Emirates for a preparatory camp during the league hiatus.
Zamalek will partake in the UAE camp as part of their strategic preparations, capitalizing on the league break.
During this period, the team is slated to compete in the Al-Wahda Club Championship, scheduled from January 18 to 24.
The tournament will witness the participation of Al-Wahda from the UAE, Al-Ittihad from Saudi Arabia, and Qatar’s Al-Sailiya.
Subsequently, Zamalek is set to engage in the Dubai Challenge Cup spanning from January 26 to 28.
This competition will feature Zamalek alongside Morocco’s Raja Casablanca, Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahli, and China’s Wuhan Three Towns.
Zamalek recently resumed training on Thursday at the Abdellatif Abu-Ragheila Stadium following the conclusion of their brief hiatus.
These international tournaments serve as a vital component of Zamalek’s strategy to maintain optimal form during the league’s downtime.
