Zamalek has reportedly received a letter from the Egyptian Football Association, stipulating the necessity of paying EGP 15 million to the association.
A reliable source within Zamalek, in exclusive statements to Goal, stated, “The Football Association has requested that Zamalek pays EGP 15 million.
During the transfer window, the White Knights are obligated to settle this amount with the association, as per the agreement made with the previous administration.”
The source continued, “Zamalek has adhered to the previous installments, and there is no crisis with the Football Association.
The club will work on preparing the amount and communicate with the Football Association on the payment method.”
He concluded, “The current board under the leadership of Hussein Labib has a good relationship with the Egyptian Football Association.
Zamalek is committed to the agreement and will continue to settle the debts.”
The previous Zamalek administration had reached an agreement to schedule the club’s debts with the Football Association, whereby the White Knights would pay EGP 15 million in each transfer window until it is fully settled.
In the same context, the source stated, “The Zamalek board is vigorously working to resolve the registration crisis to bring joy to the White Castle’s fans.”
He clarified, “The most critical issue within Zamalek currently is the registration crisis, and it is expected that this matter will be resolved within a maximum of one week.”
