Zakaria Bakkali Targeted by Atlético Madrid
Zakaria Bakkali, the 18-year-old Belgian winger of Moroccan descent, could soon leave the Dutch Eredivisie for Spain. Atlético Madrid coach Diego Simeone is planning squad reinforcements and has shown interest in Bakkali, alongside Chelsea striker Fernando Torres.
Last season, Bakkali impressed at PSV Eindhoven with 24 appearances and 4 goals. Although PSV wants to keep the young talent, they may consider selling him if the offer is substantial.
In addition to Bakkali, Atlético Madrid continues to pursue Arsenal’s attacking midfielder Santi Cazorla.
