Youssuf Sylla is being linked with a switch from Jagiellonia to fellow Ekstraklasa side Nieciecza, according to transfer listings monitored in Poland.
The 23-year-old centre-forward, valued at around €600,000 on Transfermarkt, is the subject of fresh speculation, with the move currently flagged without a stated probability of completion. Data indicates Sylla is under contract at Jagiellonia Bialystok, but no expiry date is recorded, leaving open the possibility that he could become a free agent in the near future, which may be influencing rumours around a potential deal.
Any transfer would see Sylla remain in the Polish top flight, with both Jagiellonia and Nieciecza competing in the Ekstraklasa. Jagiellonia only added the forward to their books in a recent move from Royal Charleroi SC, yet Nieciecza are now being credited with interest as clubs assess relatively low-cost attacking options ahead of upcoming windows.
Born in Grimbergen on 19 December 2002, Sylla holds both Belgian and Guinean nationality and operates primarily as a centre-forward, preferring his right foot. Standing at 1.91m, he offers a physically imposing option in attack. His career path has taken him from the youth ranks of Standard Liège to Torino’s under-17 and under-18 sides in Italy, then back to Belgium with Jong Essevee, Zulte Waregem, Zébra Élites and Royal Charleroi SC, before a loan spell at Willem II Tilburg in the Netherlands and his subsequent step into the Ekstraklasa with Jagiellonia.
Sylla’s market value has fluctuated in recent seasons, rising from €100,000 at Zulte Waregem to a peak of €800,000 at Charleroi before settling at €600,000 with Jagiellonia, a figure that could make him an attainable target for Nieciecza. With no formal agreement reported and no probability attached to the rumour, his short-term future remains uncertain, but a move within Poland could prove a pivotal moment in shaping the next phase of his career if Nieciecza decide to act on their interest.
