Cameroonian youngster Youssoufa Moukoko will return to Borussia Dortmund at the end of the 2024/25 football season.
The Germany-born striker joined French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice from Borussia Dortmund last summer.
He was signed with an option to make the deal permanent should he impress during his stint.
However, in a season where he has scored twice for OGC Nice with 11 appearances in the French Ligue 1, the club has not been impressed.
As a result, the club is unwilling to pay the agreed 18 million euros to make his signing permanent.
Youssoufa Moukoko, 20, is now set to return to Borussia Dortmund at the end of the current season.
According to checks, Borussia Dortmund will also look for a solution which involves sanctioning a permanent exit for the forward,
The club believes it is best to sell Moukoko to generate funds to facilitate the signing of transfer targets in the summer transfer window.
