Youssifou Atte starts for ASEC Mimosas in CAF Champions League first-leg clash

The official line-ups have been confirmed for Sunday’s CAF Champions League first preliminary-round first leg between ASCK and ASEC Mimosas at Stade de Kegue, with kick-off scheduled for 15:30 GMT.

ASCK manager Silue Yelato has selected Mensah Ekoue in goal for the opening match of the tie. Lucien Djassayo, Kokou Agadjii and Yedoubouame Yabouri are named in the defensive line, while Amoudane Ouro-Ayeva and Gafarou Amadou are also included in the starting XI.

The home side’s line-up is captained by Kokouvi Dodji Amekoudi. Ayaovi Goudous Yawogan, Enock Assiagno, Ablam Amedome and Essotolom Abalo complete the selected team alongside the players named in defence and attack.

ASEC Mimosas have also confirmed their starting side for the first meeting, with Togolese player Youssifou Atte included from the beginning. Ayayi Charles Folly will start in goal, with Mohamed Ali Yabre, Kagnon-Nin Guei, Bakare Ouato and captain Koimizo Abdul Maiga listed in defence.

Ben Guel Kouyate, Youssifou Atte, Franck-Carlos Zouzou and Zokou Zadi are also selected for ASEC Mimosas, while Dakaud Guy Gnanhore and Souhalio Bamba complete the starting line-up.

Both teams will now look to establish an advantage in the opening leg before the tie moves to Cote d’Ivoire for the return match. The encounter at Stade de Kegue therefore represents the first opportunity for either side to take control of the contest.
