Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri is set to leave Europe for the Gulf region, with a transfer to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal reportedly on the horizon.
The 28-year-old forward, who has enjoyed an exceptional season with Turkish side Fenerbahçe, is expected to make the switch after a prolific campaign that saw him score 30 goals and provide 7 assists in 52 appearances.
En-Nesyri’s potential move to Al-Hilal, one of the most prominent clubs in the Saudi Pro League, is reportedly valued at approximately €35 million.
The deal is said to have received approval from new Al-Hilal coach Simone Inzaghi, who has recently taken charge of the Saudi giants.
Having joined Fenerbahçe from Spanish side Sevilla in 2024, En-Nesyri quickly established himself as a key figure in the team’s attack, racking up over 3,000 minutes of play during the season.
His impressive goal-scoring form helped Fenerbahçe to a successful campaign, cementing his status as one of Europe’s most in-demand strikers.
Now, with his future pointing towards Saudi Arabia, En-Nesyri looks set to embark on a new chapter in his career.
The transfer would see him reunite with former Sevilla teammate Yassine Bounou, who is already part of the Al-Hilal squad, potentially adding to the personal appeal of the move.
The deal, which could be confirmed in the coming days, marks a significant shift in En-Nesyri’s career, as he follows in the footsteps of several European players making the move to the increasingly competitive Saudi Pro League.
