Al Hilal have set their sights on Moroccan forward Youssef En-Nesyri as a backup plan should their pursuit of Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres fall through.
Reports from Turkish outlet Mynet Spor claim the Saudi giants are ready to table a €30 million offer to Fenerbahce to bring in the prolific striker.
Negotiations with Napoli’s Victor Osimhen recently stalled, prompting Al Hilal to explore other top-tier options. En-Nesyri, who enjoyed a strong campaign with Fenerbahce, netting 30 goals and providing 7 assists in 52 appearances, has emerged as a prime candidate.
Despite his impressive form, En-Nesyri’s connection with Fenerbahce supporters has reportedly been lukewarm. His goal-scoring efforts have not received the recognition expected, leaving the striker open to a potential move. Premier League sides Aston Villa and West Ham have also shown interest, creating a competitive market for his signature.
En-Nesyri remains under contract with Fenerbahce until the summer of 2029, giving the Turkish club the upper hand in any negotiations. If more clubs make offers, his price could climb further in the closing weeks of the summer transfer window.
