Youssef El Othmani, the president of Club Africain, has issued an apology to the club’s supporters following their recent withdrawal from the African Confederation Cup, emphasizing his understanding of their frustration.
El Othmani also refuted rumors regarding the players’ physical readiness and the alleged success of only three players in the physical tests, asserting that these were merely fabricated interpretations, according to his statement.
Furthermore, El Othmani stated his willingness to convene a general election and evaluation session if the members and fans express a desire for it.
Concluding his remarks, the Club Africain president emphasized that the management has taken responsibility at a time when the team was grappling with debts totaling 45 million dinars and over 155 legal cases.
