Algerian footballer Youssef Belaïli, who plays for MC Alger, has issued his first response today following his expulsion in the recent match against Wafaa Setif in the 19th round of the Algerian Professional League.
The game ended in a disappointing defeat for MC Alger against their hosts, Wafaa Setif, with a score of 1-0.
Taking to his official Instagram story, Belaïli posted a statement that read: “Those who do not stand by MC Alger in adversity do not deserve to celebrate with them in triumphs.”
This statement comes as a response to the criticism directed towards him after receiving a red card in the recent match against Wafaa Setif.
Additionally, through his post, Belaïli extended an invitation to the club’s supporters to rally behind the team in their quest for the league title.
