Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca remains resolute in its stance regarding goalkeeper Youssef Al-Moutia.
The club has made it clear that Al-Moutia will not be allowed to leave on a free transfer this summer despite interest.
Wydad insists on either retaining the player or considering a transfer only if a satisfactory offer is presented.
The dispute intensified after Al-Moutia appeared in a video at the club’s training ground, filming himself on his phone in the absence of coaching staff and voicing complaints about how he had been treated.
Al-Moutia, currently a substitute behind teammate Benabid, has expressed a desire to leave Wydad without a transfer fee.
It is worth noting that Al-Moutia nearly departed the club last season but ultimately stayed after receiving his contractual dues and a promotion letter from Wydad.
