Raja Casablanca striker Yousri Bouzouk is set to leave the Moroccan club following a dispute that has left both sides at odds.
The Algerian forward, discontented over the inclusion of a symbolic card on the team’s jerseys, has formally requested to return to his homeland.
Tensions escalated when Bouzouk refused to participate in matches and remained on the bench, adamant about his desire to leave.
The club initially agreed to transfer the player for $1.2 million but ruled out the possibility of him joining another Algerian side.
The situation has since taken a new turn, with Bouzouk reportedly agreeing to forgo his unpaid wages in exchange for an exit.
He is now expected to finalize a deal with Saudi Arabian club Al-Fath, bringing an end to his tenure at Raja Casablanca.
The departure highlights a turbulent chapter for both the player and the club, marking the conclusion of a partnership marred by controversy and unmet expectations.
