Mustafa Shokry, the promising playmaker for Zamalek, has affirmed that his inclusion in the club followed an impressive performance during one of the trials, emphasizing that Ahmed Saleh, the former Zamalek star in the youth sector, was the first to welcome him.
In statements to Zamalek TV, Shokry expressed that being with the first team at this time was a goal he has been striving for since joining the club.
“Being with the first team is something I’ve been aiming for since I joined the club,” Shokry said.
He went on to mention that all the coaching staff in the youth sector have stressed the importance of seeking victories, as it reflects the characteristics and identity of Zamalek.
Discussing his preferred playing positions, Shokry stated, “I love playing as an attacking midfielder or left winger, and I benefit greatly from being with the first team.
Shikabala always talks to me, stands by my side, and I consider him my role model, a versatile player in every sense of the word.”
He continued, “I was promoted to the first team for the first time during Ferreira’s tenure, and all the senior players support us, urging us not to be intimidated.”
