Yehia Shaheen, the legal advisor of Pyramids FC, has stepped forward to dismiss reports claiming the club is facing a transfer ban linked to unpaid dues from Ramadan Sobhi’s move from Huddersfield Town in 2020.
Speaking exclusively to Kooora, Shaheen stated that such reports are baseless and assured fans that Pyramids has no legal dispute with the English side.
“This news is completely untrue,” Shaheen said, highlighting that the Egyptian club has already signed an official settlement agreement with Huddersfield and is committed to honoring it in full.
He further stressed that the matter was resolved long ago, adding that Huddersfield has not pursued any new legal action despite rumors suggesting otherwise.
Shaheen’s words bring calm to supporters as Pyramids prepare for a key clash against Al-Ahly on Saturday evening in the fifth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Pyramids currently sit on 5 points from four games, while Al-Ahly has also collected 5 points but from three matches, setting up an evenly poised encounter.
