Dijon is looking to reduce its squad size, and as a result, the club, which was relegated to Ligue 2 last season, is planning to release up to 5 players. Among those on the departure list are several African players, including the second goalkeeper for the Ivory Coast national team, Daniel Yeboah, as well as Senegalese and Ivorian defenders Zakaria Diallo and Zié Diabaté.
Daniel Yeboah joined the club last summer as the third goalkeeper, competing with Baptiste Reynet and Togolese goalkeeper Baba Tchagouni. Dijon is also considering parting ways with Chadian midfielder Sanaa Altama and Franco-Algerian striker Mehdi Courgnaud.
