Yassine Ben Abdallah joins US Ben Guerdane to bolster Tunisia defence

Tunisia centre-back Yassine Ben Abdallah has joined US Ben Guerdane from ES Sahel U21 on loan, completing a move that takes the 20-year-old into the Ligue 1 squad.

Ben Abdallah’s transfer was completed on 4 September 2026, with the loan running until 30 June 2027. He will spend the 2026-27 campaign with Ben Guerdane after leaving ES Sahel’s under-21 side.

The defender has already made six appearances in Tunisia’s senior competitions, featuring five times in Ligue 1 and once in the Tunisian Cup. Those matches have brought him 395 minutes of playing time.

Ben Abdallah plays primarily as a centre-back and joins a Ben Guerdane team competing in Tunisia’s top division. His arrival provides the club with a young defensive option for the remainder of the season.

His move represents a step up from ES Sahel U21 to regular involvement with a Ligue 1 club. The Tunisian defender’s current spell is scheduled to end at the close of June, when he is due to return to ES Sahel U21.

Ben Abdallah has signed for US Ben Guerdane on loan through 30 June 2027.
