Yann Gboho: Roma linked with Toulouse winger

French-Ivorian winger Yann Gboho has been linked with a move from Toulouse to Roma, with the Serie A club reportedly considering a deal for the 25-year-old.

Gboho joined Toulouse from Belgian side Cercle Brugge in January 2024 for €2.5m and remains under contract until 30 June 2027. His current market value is listed at €18m.

The left winger has made 96 Ligue 1 appearances, scoring 17 goals and providing 12 assists. He has also featured in domestic cup and European competitions during his career.

Gboho began his senior career at Stade Rennais, having progressed through the club’s academy, before spending the 2021-22 season on loan with Dutch club Vitesse. He later moved to Cercle Brugge on a free transfer in August 2022, where he played 43 matches in the Belgian top flight before returning to France with Toulouse.

He was part of the Rennes side that won the French Cup in 2019.

A transfer to Roma would see Gboho move from Ligue 1 to Serie A, but there is no indication that an agreement has been reached. Toulouse currently retain the player’s registration and contractual rights, with his deal at the club running through the end of the 2026-27 season.
