Yanis Massolin: Bologna linked with move for Inter attacking midfielder

Bologna are being linked with a move for France-Algeria attacking midfielder Yanis Massolin, who is currently on the books at Inter in Serie A.

Massolin, 23, has a market value of 4.5m and recently returned to Inter this summer after a loan spell with fellow Italian side Modena, where he spent the second half of last season.

The left-footed playmaker, who stands at 1.97m, operates primarily as an attacking midfielder and offers an unusually tall profile for a creative role, a combination that could appeal to Bologna as they assess options for their Serie A squad.

Massolins rapid rise in value over the past year has come on the back of his performances in Italy, with his valuation increasing significantly during his time at Modena following a move from Belgian side Francs Borains in 2025.

Before his switch to Italy, Massolin developed in France and Belgium, including a spell at Clermont Foot, experience that has given him exposure to different tactical systems ahead of a potential intra-Serie A move.

No agreement has been reached between Inter and Bologna, and the situation remains at the rumour stage, with Massolin still an Inter player.
