Yangon United bring in Liberia winger Albert Korvah after brief Shooting Stars spell

Liberia winger Albert Korvah has joined Yangon United from Nigerian club Shooting Stars, completing a move that takes the 27-year-old to Myanmar’s M League.

Korvah’s transfer was registered on 2 September 2026, less than a month after he moved to Shooting Stars from fellow Nigerian Professional Football League side Remo Stars. He had not made an appearance in the 2026-27 NPFL season before leaving the club.

The left winger becomes a Yangon United player after a short spell with Shooting Stars, whom he joined on 8 August. His arrival continues a career that has taken him across clubs in Liberia, Nigeria and beyond, with the move to Myanmar representing his latest change of league.

Korvah began the 2025-26 season with Al-Sawaed before joining Remo Stars on 1 January 2026. Earlier in his career, he played for Rivers United after leaving Liberian club Watanga FC in September 2022. That transfer was recorded with a fee of €45,000.

A right-footed attacker who operates from the left wing, Korvah has been valued at €25,000. His profile gives Yangon United a player experienced in Nigerian domestic football and familiar with moving between clubs in different leagues.

Korvah’s international nationality is Liberia, and his career has included a return to African football after his previous spell with Al-Sawaed. His move to Yangon United now places him in the M League, following his latest season in the NPFL.

The transfer comes during a rapid period of movement for the player: he left Remo Stars for Shooting Stars in August before departing the NPFL club for Yangon United in September. No contract length has been announced as part of the move.

Korvah has therefore moved from Shooting Stars to Yangon United, completing his switch to the Myanmar club on 2 September 2026.
