The Ethics Committee of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has made its decision regarding the statements made by Mohamed Talal, the official spokesperson for Wydad Athletic Club, following their match against Maghreb Fez in the 12th round of the professional league.
The committee has decided to suspend Talal from engaging in any football-related activity for a period of one year due to his criticism in audio and video recordings of the refereeing of the match between Wydad Athletic Club and Maghreb Fez.
Additionally, the Ethics Committee, in its statement issued on Wednesday, also fined Talal an amount of 50,000 Moroccan Dirhams.
Previously, the Wydad spokesperson had given press statements after the Mass match, expressing his dissatisfaction with the performance of the referee, Youssef Al-Turki, while simultaneously demanding fairness for Wydad Athletic Club in light of the refereeing errors they have faced in some of their matches in the competition.
