The Wydad Athletic Club has extended its congratulations to its former coach, Hussein Amouta, the current head coach of the Jordanian national team, after leading them to the final of the AFC Asian Cup for the first time in their history.
This accomplishment marks a significant milestone for Amouta, whose previous best achievements included reaching the quarter-finals in the 2004 and 2011 editions of the tournament.
In a statement, the Wydad Athletic Club expressed their felicitations: “The management board of the Wydad Athletic Club congratulates Hussein Amouta, our former coach, on the historic achievement he accomplished with the Jordanian national team in the 2024 AFC Asian Cup.”
