Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca have bolstered their squad with the acquisition of three top players ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup tournament.
Wydad is one of the clubs representing Africa at the revived Club World Cup tournament to be staged in the USA next month.
The African giants are paired in Group G against Manchester City, Juventus, and Al-Ain. In an attempt to make a meaningful impact at the tournament, the Moroccan outfit strengthened their squad with three high-profile players.
Wydad are displaying serious purpose with recent signings as the 2025 FIFA Club World cup in the United States approaches.
Among the signings is seasoned Morocco international and former Hull City winger Nordin Amrabat as well as Hamza Hannouri, prolific striker from FUS Rabat
Meanwhile, Stephane Aziz Ki, dynamic Burkinabe playmaker from Young Africans has also joined the Moroccan giants.
Experience, firepower and midfield skill are all added by these signings which are essential for playing on the biggest club stage in the world.
Wydad will open their account at the tournament on June 18 against Manchester City before taking on Juventus and Al-Ain.
