Wydad AC to announce presidential candidates amid intense deliberations
This comes after extensive discussions and rigorous examination of the applications, according to a source from the committee.
The source stated, “The committee will publish the names of the candidates this week,” and explained the delay in the announcement was due to a complex and thorough debate among the committee members. “Anyone who thinks the committee’s work is easy is mistaken.
If it were as simple as some influencers on social media believe, we would have made decisions to accept or reject candidacies at the time of submission,” the source added.
Five candidates have submitted their applications to the Wydad AC administration.
They are Hicham Aït Manna, Saadallah Yassine, Ateel Touzer, Anas Korami, and Nasik Karam.
Each candidate brings a unique vision and set of qualifications to the table, vying to succeed the current president, Abdel Majid El Barnaki.
