Tunisia confirmed its place in the third round of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers by drawing 1-1 against Equatorial Guinea. Tunisia, led by Nabil Maaloul, faced a challenge when they fell behind to a penalty from Juvenal in the 34th minute. However, they managed to level the score in the 60th minute with Oussama Darragi converting a penalty for Tunisia. With this result, Tunisia tops Group B with 11 points, followed by Cape Verde with 6 points, while Sierra Leone and Equatorial Guinea have 5 points each.
