FIFA President Gianni Infantino has confirmed that the 2026 FIFA World Cup clash between Tunisia national football team and Japan national football team will become the 1,000th match in FIFA World Cup history.
The landmark fixture is scheduled for June 20, 2026 in the Mexican city of Monterrey, one of the major host cities for the tournament.
