Eze praises Ghana’s defensive structure
Speaking after the match, Eze admitted that Ghana made life difficult for England with their disciplined setup.
“We knew we were in control for much of the game, so it was a matter of finding those gaps, those spaces. We managed to do that towards the end of the match, but it was still a tough game because our opponents had a solid defence. Their compact formation made things difficult for us at times. But yes, we’ll keep going,” Eze said.
Group L remains finely balanced
The result leaves both England and Ghana level at the top of Group L with four points each heading into the final round of group-stage fixtures, setting up a decisive finish to the group.
