Asamoah Gyan, a key player for Ghana and a standout from the 2010 World Cup, remains optimistic about his team’s chances in the upcoming 2014 World Cup despite being drawn in a challenging Group D alongside Germany, Portugal, and the United States. Gyan believes that Ghana has a wealth of new talent, and he anticipates that one of his young teammates could emerge as a breakout star during the tournament.
“Certainly, there could be a revelation in the team, but I’m not God. So I don’t know at the moment. Let’s just say let’s go and we’ll see what happens,” Gyan shared in a statement relayed by Afrik-foot.
