Wilfred Ndidi has praised Nottingham Forest for their simple style of play, calling their approach one of the most effective in the Premier League this season.
The Nigerian midfielder, who featured 27 times and registered four assists for Leicester City in the just-ended campaign, expressed his admiration during an interview with Showmax.
“I would say Nottingham Forest. They just stick to the basics and just get the goals, defend, get the goals, and that’s what they need,” Ndidi said.
While Ndidi’s Leicester City faced the heartbreak of relegation this season, Nottingham Forest enjoyed a strong campaign. Their straightforward, result-focused football caught the attention of neutral fans and opponents alike.
