Widad Temara Football Club has decided to extend the contract of former Moroccan international player and coach Abdessalam Benjelloun for two seasons, with the possibility of renewal.
Benjelloun took charge of Widad Temara in recent matches after replacing coach Hussein Ouchla. Under his leadership, the team achieved positive results, enabling them to compete for promotion after previously holding mid-table positions.
Having joined Widad Temara as a player, Benjelloun participated in several matches this season and also contributed goals.
Following Ouchla’s departure, the club’s officials granted him the opportunity to coach the team in the final matches, before making the official decision to renew his contract.
