Two German Bundesliga clubs are battling to secure the signing of Swiss forward of Nigerian descent Noah Okafor.
The clubs include Werder Bremen and RB Leipzig.
This comes after Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas Istanbul expressed interest in signing the AC Milan attacker. The Turkish outfit has already made a concrete offer to the Swiss international.
However, Besiktas now faces stiff competition from Germany. Werder Bremen are said to be highly interested in securing the services of the 25-year-old winger, while RB Leipzig are closely monitoring the situation.
Okafor, whose contract with AC Milan runs until 2028, has yet to make a decision regarding his future. His loan spell at Napoli yielded limited opportunities, with only four brief appearances, raising questions about his role at Milan moving forward.
Notably, RB Leipzig had been close to signing Okafor in January 2025, but the deal fell through after the player reportedly failed a medical. Despite that setback, the Red Bulls have not ruled out a renewed pursuit.
Checks have revealed that Noah Okafor is assessing his options and will decide his next move in the coming weeks.
