AS FAR coach, Alexandre Santos, has assured the fans of the club that they will compete for trophies next season.
FAR completed the season by finishing in the second spot with a well-deserved 3-0 victory over Hassania Agadir on Sunday in the final round of the Moroccan topflight.
Speaking after the game, Santos promised the fans of the club that they would make more efforts to achieve the best, calling on them to continue their strong support for the team.
“I extend my warmest congratulations to the fans and supporters of the venerable Royal Army Club on this great achievement,” he said.
“I took over the team’s training late and did everything I could. We achieved success in some aspects and faced failures in others, but overall, we lived up to expectations. I thank the fans for their continued support and for following the team around the different cities,” he added.
Santos, who has secured his continuation in his position, confirmed his commitment to competing strongly next season, saying: “We promise to compete for all upcoming titles. We are still in the Throne Cup competition, and the CAF Champions League remains our common goal.”
AS FAR have also qualified to compete in the CAF Champions League next season.
