Vice President of RS Berkane, Abdelmajid Madran has assured that his side will compete fearlessly in the CAF Champions League next season.
Berkane will represent Morocco in the CAF elite competition next season after clinching the Moroccan topflight on Saturday after a 1-1 draw with Ittihad Touarga.
Speaking in an interview, Madran expressed his feelings of euphoria and positivity after the historic coronation of the Moroccan League title.
He further pointed out that the club has already joined the big leagues in Morocco, thanks to its two league titles, the Throne Cup, and its previous titles in the Confederation Cup and the African Super Cup.
He stressed that the team’s ambitions do not stop at these achievements, as it seeks to achieve more championships.
“The next goal is to compete for the Throne Cup and Confederation Cup titles,” he told Kooora.
He also expressed his great aspirations for the upcoming season, as the team seeks to go far in the African Champions League, which is the only title the team has not yet won, according to Madrane.
“We have the capabilities necessary to compete with the continent’s big teams.”
